We run two Federal initiatives, one for Madrichim and one for both Madrichim and chanichim to unite our Sniffim. Through programs such as these, we aim to actively empower, educate and engage tomorrow’s Jewish leaders, through a journey of self-discovery, Jewish development and complete fulfilment and fun, whilst upholding Bnei Akiva’s values.

Shabbatonim and Social Action Projects

Bnei Akiva Australia empowers and connects chanichim and Madrichim around Australia through our flagship Shabbatonim programs.
Situated in Melbourne and followed by regional satellite Shabbatonim, chanichim and madrichim learn about the wider community and lead as Religious Modern Orthodox Ambassadors for our movement around Australia
Creating a love for Israel
Shnat Seminar, Shnat Gap Year Program
Pillar: Aliyah
In partnership with World Bnei Akiva, Bnei Akiva Australia provides a formative Shnat Seminar in the lead up to its Shnat program in Israel.
After experiencing this seminar, Bnei Akiva Shnatties are then able to experience and grow through unique 11 month programs in Israel, tailored as much as possible to each individual chanich/a to provide an excellent grounding to instil Bnei Akiva values. This is all whilst providing a channel for individuals to ameliorate their Jewish identity
